‘Abwaab Men Nour’ Orphanage House
The first Orphanage supported by GoL is located in 5th Neighbourhood, Section One, Borg Elarab, Alexandria, Egypt. The property is 1,270 square meter comprising of a 3 story building with 10 rooms and facilities suitable for accommodation, education and recreation for up to 24 children. It has also a nice garden surrounded by a secured fence. The Orphanage is registered with and regulated by the Egyptian relevant authorities. Its registration number is 2223/2008. The Orphanage is currently operational and it employs a manager, 4 carers, an accountant (part-time), a cook, a cleaner and security officer. At the moment (July 2016) the Orphanage has 9 children well looked after under its care.
